Celtic have signed centre-half Auston Trusty from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee while working on deals for two midfielders – Arne Engels from Augsburg and Luke McCowan from Dundee
The 26-year-old Trusty, who has been capped twice for United States, has signed a five-year contract.
Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers told his club website: “He is a quick, strong, athletic defender with great ability and good experience and a player who has done really well to make his way to the USA national squad.
