SINGAPORE — Singapore Premier League (SPL) champions Lion City Sailors have further bolstered their squad for the upcoming season, in signing winger Maxime Lestienne on a free transfer from top-tier Belgian club Standard Liege

The move was completed ahead of the closure of the European transfer window on 31 January, with Lestienne expected to arrive in Singapore prior to the opening of the SPL season on 19 February, when the Sailors face Albirex Niigata in the AIA Community Shield match
