Paris Saint-Germain Clear In Exit Stance On Everton Target
Paris Saint-Germain
The 21-year-old centre forward joined the French outfit last summer but he failed to impress with his performances.
Ekitike is not in PSG’s plan for this season and they want to offload the forward this summer.
Several European outfits are interested in signing Ekitike and Everton are one of them.
The Toffees have signed Youssef Chermiti in the ongoing window, but Sean Dyche is keen on bringing in another attacker.
However, they are facing stiff competition for Ekitike’s signature from Lens and AC Milan, with the latter exploring options to take the striker on loan.
But, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are not interested in entertaining any loan deals for Ekitike.
At the moment, PSG would prefer to sell Ekitike.
It is said that Everton are pushing to sign Ekitike and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to come to an agreement.

Everton coach makes ‘difficult’ Liverpool admission as trio praised despite defeat
Everton under-21 manager Paul Tait was speaking following his side’s Premier League 2 defeat to Liverpool
Everton under-21 boss Paul Tait believes his young side were always going to be in for a “difficult” evening against Liverpool and explained why the defeat was a “tough one to take”.
The young Blues side kicked off their Premier League 2 campaign with a disappointing 4-0 mini-derby defeat at The Academy on Monday night. After a goalless first 45 minutes, Mateusz Musialowski, Terence Miles, Tom Hill and Bobby Clark were all on target for Barry Lewtas’ side during the second-half.
Tait, however, was forced to field an inexperienced side, which lined up with just two starters above the age of 18, as several injuries and recent loan moves took their toll. But despite the setback, the Everton boss believes there is plenty his young side can learn from the game.
“It was really tough tonight,” he told evertonfc.com. “We had a really young team, and Liverpool were well ahead of us.
“Their quality showed in the second half when some of our younger boys started to tire. They opened us up and exploited us.”
The Everton boss then added: “I thought the two young centre-backs, Odin (Samuels-Smith) and Bradley (Moonan), stuck at it and did some really good bits of defending.
“Billy (Crellin) played well, and we needed him tonight for his experience. He helped the two young centre-backs.
“It was always going to be difficult – we’ve got eight players missing and Liverpool are very strong. There are lessons to be learned from this, which we’ll go through with the players.
“One or two surprised us tonight with how well they did, so that’s good for us moving forward, but it’s a tough one to take.”
