Injury report: Defensive duo sustain injuries in final game
Amelie Borg and Hannah Dunn have both undergone scans after sustaining injuries in Round 10.
PORT ADELAIDE defenders Amelie Borg and Hannah Dunn have both had scans following Saturday’s NAB AFLW win over GWS.
Borg came from the ground in the first quarter after dislocating her finger, but had her hand strapped and was able to return to play.
Scans later showed that the 18-year-old sustained a fracture and will require surgery to correct the injury in the coming days.
Imaging revealed that Dunn has a low-grade AC joint sprain, resulting from a contest late in the game.
Young defender Georgie Jaques underwent a successful surgery on Thursday to have her ACL reconstructed and her lateral meniscus repaired.
The 20-year-old ruptured her ACL at training, just prior to Round 9.
Injury list
Amelie Borg – finger
Hannah Dunn – shoulder
