Chargers Injury Report: Bills Could Be Missing 2 Key Defenders For LA Clash
The Buffalo Bills is sitting two starting defenders today against the Dallas Cowboys, per Mat Mlodzinski of News 10 NBC. This late injury news serves as a potential harbinger of their availability (or lack thereof) Saturday when they face off against your Los Angeles Chargers in SoFi Stadium.
Mlodzinski reports that defensive end AJ Epenesa, who left the Bills’ 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week in the opening quarter with a rib injury, hasn’t practiced with the club this week and has now officially been ruled out for today.
Bills safety Micah Hyde, meanwhile, had been playing through a neck stinger lately, but re-aggravated it in the Chiefs matchup and will now also sit.
The 7-6 Bills will be fighting for their playoff lives against the mighty 10-3 Cowboys in a matinee clash. The game tips off at 1:25 p.m. PT today.
Obviously, it’s very early to forecast health availabilities ahead of next week’s matchup, especially considering that this week’s game for Buffalo has yet to kick off. But the fact that neither player suited up during practice last week feels somewhat ominous going forward.
