Breaking: FSU Football Signee ‘Working Heavily’ To Bring In Top Wide Receiver
After helping hold together the 2024 class, running back Kam Davis is still trying to bring in top talent.
Former four-star running back and FSU signee Kam Davis has maintained one of the longest-tenured commitments since announcing his intentions to play at Florida State in February 2021. Alongside fellow signee quarterback Luke Kromenhoek, he has played a crucial role in attracting top-tier talents from across the country. Together, they have been the glue that held the No. 10 class together, heading into the 2024 season.
One of the more sought-after wide receivers in the NCAA Transfer Portal is former Texas A&M wide receiver Evan Stewart, who led the team in touchdown receptions (four) a season ago and is also second on the team (38) in receptions. Stuart is currently listed as the No. 1 overall transfer prospect according to 247Sports.
After Stewart expressed concern about how the medical staff at TAMU diagnosed and treated his injury, which former head coach Jimbo Fisher described as a ‘thigh bruise,’ Davis reached out to the highly sought-after transfer via Twitter.
“Wherever I go, I just hope the training staff can tell me the actual diagnosis of my injuries for my physical and mental health,” Stewart’s tweet said.
Not much has changed for the talented running back out of Albany, Alabama, as he continues to help build a talented class. In response to the tweet, Davis wrote a message urging him to take his talents to Tallahassee.
“Fsu is where you can get it all BRUDDA! It’s a lot of opportunities down in TALLY!” Davis said.
FSU has some positions of need with a lot of their starting offense heading to the 2024 NFL Draft, and adding a former 5-star prospect in Stuart, given he’s healthy, could give the class a boost to an already young and talented wide receiver corps.
