Liverpool have just enquired about signing two Real Madrid players now
Liverpool have reportedly enquired about signing Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde, with Real Madrid likely to make one of the midfielders available.
According to the Secret Scout, the Reds are seriously interested in the Madrid duo with Liverpool set to miss out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.
Tchouameni and Valverde have both been linked with Liverpool this summer with Madrid now potentially open to selling one of the midfielders with Jude Bellingham already looking like a superstar under Carlo Ancelotti.
As a result, an offer from Liverpool could be tempting for Madrid, with the Reds showing recently that they’re willing to spend big on the right player this window.
A £110m bid for Caicedo is set to fail with Chelsea closing in on the midfielder, yet Tchouameni or Valverde could be exceptional replacements for the Reds this summer.
Liverpool signing Tchouameni or Valverde could be a game-changer
Tchouameni and Valverde both bring something very different to Liverpool’s squad that is hard to match, and whilst neither player is an established no. 6, there’s no denying that ever Red fan will want one or the other at Anfield.
As we know, Tchouameni and Valverde are world-class players and part of one of the best club teams in the world, and one of the pair being made available for transfer could be huge for Liverpool.
With the finances there, either player would be a sensational coup for Liverpool, with Tchouameni and Valverde good enough to take the Reds into the Premier League title conversation.

Mohamed Salah caused a stir with his reaction to being taken off against Chelsea, but the Liverpool talisman has been defended after coming under scrutiny.
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has defended Mohamed Salah after Roy Keane was scathing over the Egyptian’s response to being substituted during the 1-1 game against Chelsea.
Salah was taken off with about a quarter of an hour still to play, and didn’t take too kindly to the move by Jürgen Klopp, publicly showing discontent at the decision. Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said: “I think it’s fine if a player comes off like that but don’t keep doing it on the bench.
“You have to take it. You can be upset, fine, but don’t drag it out. I’ve seen a lot more players that are better than Salah get taken off and they’ve been fine.”
Owen, not in direct response to Keane’s take, give his own interpretation of Salah’s reaction, saying: “I was surprised, yeah. I get his reaction as well. I was definitely surprised. I thought Mo Salah played quite well,” he told Premier League Productions (via ECHO).
“It was his assist for the goal. An amazing assist. It was his curling right-footed shot that hit the bar. It was him who literally was inches offside and scored; it could have been oh, so different.
“He was looking sharp. He is an absolute legend of the club. Consistently scores dozens and dozens of goals every season. And to bring him off, for a 17-year-old (Ben Doak), yes, I was very surprised.”
Liverpool.com says: No player likes to be taken off, especially a high-class performer like Salah. Moreover, with the Egyptian chasing a record in attempting to score on eight consecutive opening days, he was likely frustrated.
Salah’s protestations show his desire and hunger, even after everything he’s achieved in the game, and that’s never a bad thing. He always wants to score more goals and do his best for Liverpool. Owen may not be everyone’s favorite person around Anfield these days, but most will surely take his side against Keane here.
