Unbelievable’: Max Kilman tells Wolves star exactly what he thinks of him after 1-1 Luton draw

Wolves could only take a point against the Premier League’s bottom club Luton Town yesterday – but Pedro Neto continued his fine form.

Wanderers played out a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road, giving the Hatters’ their first point of the season.

Luton were much the better side for the majority of the contest.

Wolves could not really get a foothold in the first-half, and were a little fortunate to go in 0-0 at the break.

The mix-up between Craig Dawson and Jose Sa indicated that the visitors were unsettled, and there was no attacking threat at all as Luton took the game to their opponents.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde was shown a red card shortly before half-time for a silly kick out at Tom Lockyer.

That made life difficult for Wolves, but Neto gave the visitors a surprise lead in the second-half with an outstanding goal.

Wolves couldn’t hold on, but Neto’s stock has risen further and captain Max Kilman made his feelings known after the game…

Neto’s goal was brilliant.

Joao Gomes did really well to make an interception and set Wolves off on the counter.

His ball though was a little overhit.

It should have been dealt with, but Neto stole the ball, took it inside and lashed into the roof of the net.

It was the goal of a player who is full of confidence at the moment.

He got four assists in his first five outings, and is now finally off the mark with a goal.

He’s been Wolves’ best player so far, and Kilman sent him a nice message on Instagram after the game.

Neto wrote ‘We deserved more after the second half we did. One more time a decision against us but we keep working. C’mon @wolves’, to which Kilman replied ‘Unbelievable brother’.

Neto is back for Wolves

What a brilliant goal it was from Neto and what a sight it is to see him back on top form.

He was great yesterday in tough circumstances.

The 23-year-old had to lead the line for a good chunk of the game yesterday, and it was a thankless task for him as the outlet.

You could see the game plan from Gary O’Neil, and Neto did a great job.

Perhaps Wolves did deserve more – the penalty given against Gomes was just ridiculous. But again you can argue Wolves barely threatened.

But once again, Neto’s form is a massive positive for Wolves.
