Ipswich Town are at the top of the Championship table after winning seven of their first eight games in their first second-tier season in over four years.

Kieran McKenna’s side will make the long trip up to this weekend, which might be challenging given the Terriers’ new manager, Darren Moore.

Let’s go over all the latest Tractor Boys news before of their game with  Huddersfield Townthe Yorkshire outfit.

Despite being in the lower third of the Championship, Huddersfield still poses a threat, as do all second-tier clubs, so the Suffolk side will need to be at their best to take on Moore and co.

Ipswich will face Darren Moore this Saturday when he takes command of his first home encounter as Huddersfield manager after replacing Neil Warnock, and he has heaped praise on a team he faced last season at Sheffield Wednesday.

“They’ve got real momentum,” Moore told the Yorkshire Post prior of the competition.

“They got the group and squad they wanted last season, they got promoted, and they’ve kept that momentum going to have a really good start to the season.”

“It’s a great game for us, and we’re excited to play in front of our own fans.”

“We’re encouraged by the boys’ performance the other night, and we’re looking forward to it.”
