McKenna signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Ipswich in December 2021, which would have lasted him until the summer of 2025.

McKenna, on the other hand, was justly rewarded for his efforts over the summer following Ipswich’s promotion from League One.

McKenna’s contract at Portman Road has been extended by two years, putting him on the club’s books until at least June 2027.
