Motherwell and Celtic supporters cause a major calamity.
Both the home and away crowds erupted as both stoppage time goals created mayhem.
Motherwell and Celtic fans sparked end of game carnage at the end of the dramatic Premiership clash between their club as BOTH spilled onto the pitch.
Luis Palma’s late goal looked to have sealed the game at Fir Park with an 87th minute strike breaking the deadlock. That sparked wild scenes behind the goal but nothing more than that as it looked likely Brendan Rodgers’ men were going to come away victors. But Blair Spittal’s stoppage-time leveller sparked wild home emotion and a section of the home support spilled out onto the pitch from the John Hunter section.
But the joy was soon short lived as Celtic went straight up the other end and put themselves back ahead with the final kick of the game, and it was the turn of the away supporters who in sections started to come onto the pitch as they celebrated their side’s goal. Five minutes of stoppage time turned into nine-and-a-half as the ‘Well then pressed for a leveller but in the end the champions walked away with three points.
