Two more first team stars are being approached by Celtic for contracts, according to a report.
Since Brendan Rodgers assumed leadership, CELTIC have been busy renewing contracts.
Since Brendan Rodgers joined the team, Callum McGregor, Kyogo, Daizen Maeda, Liel Abada, Stephen Welsh, Antony Ralston, Reo Hatate, and Matt O’Riley have all signed new contracts, and it’s not over yet.
Celtic will look to tie Cameron Carter-Vickers and Greg Taylor down to new deals, according to SunSport.
Due to injury, the American defender has only appeared twice for Celtic this year. But there’s no question that the club will try to talk to him about issues.
His current contract, which he signed last summer when he made his loan from Spurs permanent, is slated to expire in 2026.
Although Greg Taylor has had trouble adjusting to Brendan Rodgers’ coaching style, his performances versus Livingston and Motherwell have significantly improved.
The 25-year-old signed a contract extension under Ange Postecoglou, but because his present agreement is slated to expire in 2025, he might be about to sign another one.
The proactive approach Celtic is taking to contract renewals is fantastic and welcome.

Sydney Cummings: I’ve been so welcomed by the Celtic fans.
Five substitutions being performed simultaneously are uncommon, especially during a game’s halftime. But that was precisely the nature of Fran Alonso’s adjustments during Sunday’s 6-0 victory over Hamilton Accies.
The Spaniard was able to move half of his outfield and insert fresh legs into the game after establishing a comfortable four goal advantage in the first 45 minutes.
Hamilton Accies wouldn’t have wanted to see the emergence of players like Amy Gallacher and Colette Cavanagh, to mention just two, who have been in excellent form this season after a challenging first half.
Alonso was also able to add a fresh player to the team during the break in the form of Sydney
Cummings entered to make her debut with the Celtics.
The defender was introduced to the action this week after formally joining the team earlier in the week as the Celts prepared for another busy few weeks.
The 24-year-old confessed she was thrilled to return to the field in an interview with Celtic TV following her debut outing in a Celtic jersey.
In addition, Cummings thanked her teammates for reducing some of the pressure on her debut after a brilliant first-half performance saw the Hoops go ahead.
Yes, it was wonderful to make my club debut, she replied. I felt a little less pressure going on since the girls did a terrific job in the first half.
Naturally, we
wanted to enter and say something. So moving around and being outside was enjoyable.
It’s good to finally return to the field and play again after being here for approximately two weeks.
When a team sits in and you are controlling possession, a game may be a little more challenging because mistakes are more obvious.
But these gals are a terrific bunch. It was amazing because we support one another and make the most of our opportunities.
Although Cummings made his club debut on an away trip to New Douglas Park, the quantity of Hoops supporters who were there would have made the defender doubt that came out in support.
After the game, several fans had the opportunity to speak with the newest member of the Celts, and Cummings expressed her gratitude for the warm reception she had received in Glasgow.
She is now anticipating a taste of the action in front of the home crowd, and it doesn’t get much larger than the match on Thursday against Glasgow City.
All you have to do is look at them, she added. They are continually singing, you can hear it. Hearing that they are fantastic is quite reassuring.
You feel really important and like a professional football player.
“The atmosphere that these fans have created is truly phenomenal, and I can’t wait to play in front of them for the rest of the season.’
