This evening, the Tigers will try to win their fourth game in a row on the road.
Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna believes the game against Hull City on Tuesday night will be fought between two high-level sides, with the pair presently claiming two of the top six positions.

Town are second in the Championship after a scorching start following promotion, while City are fifth, six points behind the Tractor Boys, and will arrive in Suffolk unbeaten in their previous nine games.

While Rosenior’s side have drawn their previous four home games, including a 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, their road form has been far better.

Last week’s 3-1 triumph over Stoke City in front of the television cameras was their third in a row away from the MKM Stadium, following a magnificent win over table-toppers Leicester City. McKenna, on the other hand, who has seen his side win three of their Portman Road trips in the early weeks of the fledgling Championship campaign, is expecting a spectacle beneath the Portman Road lights.

“I think they’re a great team.” They’re well-coached, have very strong recruitment, brought in good players in the summer, have a nice profile, a definite style of play, and it should be a really good match,” the ex-Manchester United coach remarked.

Ipswich vs Hull predictions: Tractor Boys can tame the Tigers | LiveScore

“It’s no surprise that they’ve started well; we’d expect them to have a really strong season, but it’s up to us to go and deliver a performance and give ourselves the best chance on Tuesday night.” That is the challenge, and it is something we are looking forward to.

“We think we’ve got some things we’re pretty good at as well, and we’re playing at home in front of our fans.” We’ll go out and attack the game, be really upbeat, and attempt to impose ourselves on it.

“We’ll approach it with respect for our opponent and the knowledge that we’ll have to defend very well as well.” It’s a fantastic game to look forward to; I believe it’ll be a high-level game, and we can’t wait to return to Portman Road.”
