The highly anticipated throwback uniforms are finally here as the Seahawks will be wearing them when they take on the Cleveland Browns at Lumen Field on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The iconic throwback uniforms are a call back to the 90s which was a pivotal time for not only the Seahawks but also the city of Seattle.

The Seahawks wore these uniforms starting in their inaugural season in 1976 and last wore them in 2001. These uniforms merge the past and the present by utilizing the original team colors with the updated technology of the modern NFL uniform. The uniform combination features the classic silver helmet, royal blue and apple green jerseys and the matte gray pants featuring blue and green stripes going down the sides. One of the best looks in NFL History has been revamped for the modern game while maintaining the classic look of the 90’s era.

The jersey has a commemorative patch commemorating the Kingdome, which served as the Seahawks’ home from 1976 until 1999. The Seahawks’ first home was where the 12s were established, giving the team one of the biggest home field advantages in all of sports.

The Seahawks will wear the long-awaited throwback uniforms against the 4-2 Cleveland Browns this Sunday at Lumen Field.
