Fifth-year senior Jordan Whittington is also worthy of being selected in the draft, which realistically means that Texas could lose an absurd amount of production consisting of 201 catches, 2,824 yards receiving, and 18 receiving touchdowns on the year. The Longhorns are making a major push for him, as are programs such as Miami, Oklahoma, USC, Washington, Oregon, and Utah among many others. He has proven to be someone who seemingly always manages to get open, and is also extremely hard to bring down in open space. He would automatically assert himself as the top pass catcher for the Longhorns should he choose to come to Austin, and would give Quinn Ewers a much-needed versatile weapon. He ranks as the No. 13 overall player in the portal, and ranks as the No. 3 receiver.
