“Marvin is a dynamic athlete with proven production at the collegiate level,” head coach Mike Norvell said via release. “He brings experience and a tremendous amount of play-making ability to our program, and he is just scratching the surface of where he can go. I’m looking forward to seeing his continued development in all areas within our program as he forges his own legacy here at Florida State. I’m so excited about not only the player but also the person that is joining the Nole Family.”

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end is originally from Sunrise, Fla. He played at American Heritage, prior to going to Georgia.

He appeared in 25 games with one start in his two seasons in Athens. He had 16 tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in his time at Georgia.

He played in 12 games this past season for the Bulldogs, including a start in the SEC Championship Game. As a true sophomore, he had 12 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a quarterback hurry.
