Breaking: 5-star WR target plans to join FSU
No. 2 ranked WR in the nation plans to visit Florida State this weekend for FSU Junior Day recruiting event
The No. 2 ranked wide receiver prospect in the country has informed Noles247 that he plans to visit Florida State this weekend on Sunday, February 4th.
Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County standout Caleb Cunningham has visited FSU three times previously, and he has remained a top out-of-state target at wide receiver since the Seminoles’ staff extended an offer in Oct. 16 of 2022, during his first visit to Tallahassee.
Former FSU Football DT Awarded Player of the Week at Reese’s Senior Bowl
Former Florida State defensive lineman Braden Fiske has won the practice player-of-the-week award at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, gaining the respect of his peers in the process. The award was voted on by his offensive line teammates on the American team of the event.
During his first and only year in Tallahassee, Fiske recorded 43 tackles, six sacks, and nine tackles for loss.
His most impressive game on the stat sheet was the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte. The Western Michigan transfer had nine total tackles, three sacks, and four and a half tackles for loss. The Seminoles won 16-6. Fiske and Co. deserved a lot of the credit for the win as the offense sputtered with third-string quarterback Brock Glenn making his first start.
Head coach Mike Norvell congratulated the former FSU DT for winning the Senior Bowl award, going as far as to call him a “real one.”

“Just getting started! #NoleFamily #KeepCLIMBing #RealOne,” stated Norvell.
ESPN’s Louis Riddick called Fiske one of his favorites to watch at the Senior Bowl. He was the only defensive tackle featured on the list.
Some (not all ) favorites that kept my attention from the 2024 @seniorbowl practices. @JimNagy_SB and his staff absolutely crushed in terms of set up, organization, and access. One of the best events on the #NFL calendar by far:
DE Adisa Isaac – Penn State
DE Laiatu Latu – UCLA…— Louis Riddick (@LRiddickESPN) February 2, 2024
Fiske was also awarded with a third-team All-American honor at the defensive tackle position in 2023.
In his four years at Western Michigan, Fiske had an impressive 148 total tackles, 13.5 sacks, and 27 tackles for loss.
According to a mock draft from Pro Football Focus, Fiske is projected to the Cleveland Browns in the 2024 NFL Draft with the 86th pick.
