Breaking: 44-year old legend rejects Raiders move

Kliff Kingsbury appears to have had a late change in plans with regard to one offensive coordinator job.

Kingsbury has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive coordinator position, his agent told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Earlier this week, it had been reported that the two sides were working on finalizing a deal.

Considering how far down the line a deal seemed to be, this definitely comes as a surprise. It is possible that the two sides simply failed to agree to terms, but in light of what has been said about Kingsbury, it is perhaps more likely that he is in the running for another job that he prefers to the Raiders one.

The Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks are the only other teams that currently have offensive coordinator openings, though the Chargers have been linked to one candidate in particular. As for the Raiders, they will have to go back to the drawing board to fill what will be a key position on new coach Antonio Pierce’s staff.

Kingsbury, the former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, spent last season as an offensive assistant at USC.

Will Taylor Swift make it from Tokyo to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl? Embassy of Japan provides insight into singer’s travel prospects.

The Kansas City Chiefs have secured their place in Super Bowl 2024, setting the stage for a showdown with the San Francisco 49ers. The highly anticipated championship game is slated for Sunday, Feb. 11, at Allegiant Stadium, kicking off at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Amidst the anticipation, questions have arisen about the possibility of Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, making it to the Super Bowl on time. Swift, the renowned pop music icon, is embarking on her extensive Eras Tour in Tokyo, Japan, next week, with the final show scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10, allowing her just one day to reach Las Vegas.

Clarifying the uncertainty surrounding Swift’s return journey to the U.S., the Embassy of Japan confirmed that the 12-time Grammy winner should comfortably arrive in time for the NFL postseason finale if she departs Tokyo soon after her concert concludes. In an official statement, the Embassy of Japan stated

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.”

Swift has played a notable role in the NFL season, attending numerous Chiefs games, both at home and away, to support Kelce. The couple also shared a heartwarming moment at the MT&T field after Kansas City’s victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC title game.

While Swift’s travel plans following her final show in Japan are yet to be confirmed, expectations are high for her presence at the Super Bowl to witness the Chiefs face off against the 49ers in Las Vegas.
