Breaking: Giants engage in a blockbuster trade deal to sign 26 year old talented player worth $163 million
White, a seven-year veteran, was a first-round pick by the Bills in 2017, the 27th overall pick in that draft.
A two-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro (2019), the 5-11, 192-pound cornerback has dealt with some injury-shortened seasons of late, most recently this past season when he was limited to only four games thanks to a torn Achilles tendon suffered against the Miami Dolphins.
White, who was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2017 and to the second-team All-Pro in 2020, has logged 311 tackles, five forced fumbles and fumble recoveries, 68 pass deflections, and 18 interceptions over his career. Earlier this month, he was a cap casualty and could be looking to join a team on a one-year “prove it” deal to re-set his career following last year’s injury.
Earlier this month, the Giants met with Darious Williams, who had been a cap cut by the Jaguars, about potentially filling their CB2 role, which became vacant when Adoree Jackson’s contract was voided. Williams ended up signing with the Los Angeles Rams.
