Breaking: Carolina Panthers Add Another Old-timer Wide Receiver To Roster
The Carolina Panthers have reportedly added veteran wide receiver David Moore to the lineup. In the last season, he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad.
He was selected in the 2017 NFL Draft in the seventh round as the 226th pick and was picked up by the Seattle Seahawks. With the Seahawks, he played from 2017 to 2020. He was also involved with the Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His contract is a one-year deal with the Panthers, as per ProFootballTalk via The Charlotte Observer. In the last two campaigns, he has played in ten games and in the last season, he played in seven matchups. In 2023, he registered five catches for 94 yards and a single touchdown.
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, “Free-agent LB Justin Strnad has had a change of heart. He’s retuning to the #Broncos on a one-year deal, source says. Strnad was close to finalizing a deal with the #Panthers but decided to remain in Denver with the team that drafted him in 2020.”
Strnad was picked up in the 2020 NFL Draft in the fifth round as the 178th pick and was selected by the Denver Broncos. In the past three seasons with the Broncos, the linebacker has participated in fifty games. In the last campaign, he participated in seventeen games and registered five tackles.
