Triste notizia: Marco Baroni sarà privo di due giocatori chiave dalla partita di oggi a causa di…..
Lazio coach Marco Baroni previewed his team’s upcoming encounter against Udinese in his pre-match press conference (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
The 60-year-old made his official bow for the club with a confident win over Venezia last weekend. He’s now preparing his men for their first away test of the season which will ensue at the Stadio Friuli on Saturday.
Baroni envisions a tough task ahead against a physical team while explaining where his team can improve.
The Lazio coach was asked about Nicolo Rovella, Matias Vecino and Danilo Cataldi who are all vying for the holding midfielder role. Nevertheless, Baroni insists everyone at the club should consider himself a starter.
I evaluate the players depending on the game. Rovella did well in my opinion against Venezia, then he was a bit tired, and Vecino had a good cameo. I try to articulate and manage. We must not think about 11 starters. Everyone must know what to do on the field, then it depends on the game and the changes that can be made.
I don’t rule this out. Dia is fine, he worked well. He missed two or three days after the Coppa Italia game with Salernitana. But he’s physically fine. We’re bringing him into our plans. He’s settled in well, he has the characteristics we’re looking for.
